German MG37.62mm machine gun
Rheinmetall Maschinengewehr 7.62 x 51 MG3
Modern variant of the famous WWII MG42 7.92x57 German machine gun, currently in use with armed forces of about 30 countries.
Extremely detailed and accurate. Almost all parts included, except for the recoil spring and tiny parts such as cotter pins, chains, rings and wires which cost too many polygon faces and hardly can be seen. All movable parts in the real gun were built as separate objects in this model, with pivot points assigned, easy to setup animation. This is one of the highest quality 3D polygonal models.

All polygon meshes are formed as closed solids, with no open seams. Basic materials and texture maps (shader) included for quick rendering.
Polygon count:
321,567 MG3 w/ Bipod
61,400 DM41 cartridges
The polygon counts list here are the actual triangle face count at rendering stage. This model was translated into triangular polygons, no further tessellation required for rendering.
Originally built in SolidWorks to achieve highest accuracy.
